Ross Jeffries for years has been pushing yoga and meditation as one of the ultimate tools for inner game and self-development. I decided to start doing yoga based on his strong claims… and now I am a firm advocate of yoga and meditation as well.
One of our readers asked me to explain how yoga and meditation helped me get rid of anxiety. I’ll share my experience – for the sake of simplicity, I’m going to refer to it all as “yoga”. What I am actually doing is about 15 minutes of aligning simple yoga movements with my breathing (asanas), followed by sitting in the classic meditation posture and simply focusing on my breathing and being present to the moment.
How it helps:

1. When consistently practicing yoga, you gain a much greater awareness of your consciousness. When doing yoga, you’re doing your best to rest your attention on your breathing and being totally present to the Read the rest of this entry »

After my conversation with Legend this weekend (on the upcoming 07.26.08 audio file), I am thinking about what motivates us. My motivation has been waning in other areas of my life, mainly meditation and exercise/dieting – I want to take my motivation back.
What I realized is that the visions and conditions that I had set to motivate my actions no longer applied. Like wind coming out of my sails, I simply stopped doing the good things I was doing and even enjoyed doing after the vision I had created had come to pass.
For example, I stopped Read the rest of this entry »

In 2004, I remember one of my “gurus” talking about being focused on process, not on outcome. His reasoning was sound: If you are wrapped up in how something is going to turn out, you run a risk of messing it up.
So I made a point of focusing on the process in the different areas where I wanted to improve. Instead of being focused on being really fit and muscular, I focused on being on point with my diet every 3 hours and doing my workouts with full-focus, as scheduled.
Same with pick-up / seduction. I go out (as best I can) without any expectation and need for outcome. As long as I am out of my house and approaching, I am living Read the rest of this entry »

I received an e-mail from someone who’s been following along my activities. In the e-mail, he is talking about the different ways he’s suffered in the past with women. We got into a discussion about focusing on the past – I would like to share my response with you all:
As I progressed in my own self-development, I focused less and less and less on the past.
At first, I was addicted to it. I indulged in thinking about painful memories or how I was wronged or how things went wrong and what I felt it meant about my potential. It became so painful and obstructive to where I wanted to go that I decided that it was a habit I had to break. But what was I going to replace it with?
Simply put… I replace it with continuing to build a new reality for myself. I continue to act into new, empowering frames where there used to be a weak or unhelpful one. When I have recognized a pattern in myself of acting in a way that does not generate the responses I want, I ask myself, “Under what circumstances (aka In what frame) would I Read the rest of this entry »

After a long weekend of going out and pushing myself a little further than before, I am finally starting feel the cracks in my reality like never before. I’ve tried to bring a scientific edge to an art form, but these are some ideas I’ve been playing over in my head.
The seduction community has been around for a long time and, as in everything in life, there are a few extremes. Sides to the pendulum as we could call it. Anyone who has studied self-help knows that the key to everything is keeping it all in balance. You don’t want to be a cocky asshole guy to the extreme, just as much as you don’t want to be a nice guy chode. Each are on the sides of the extreme. Here are some thoughts I want to work into my game and where I think true mastery will be.
Seduction community version one:
For many years it was extremely routine based Read the rest of this entry »
