Since I’ve begun studying seduction/dating advice/pickup technique, I have always asked myself, “Is there a central factor behind all of these techniques? What are the central threads that are consistent between every “school” of picking up beautiful women?”
My present theory is that it has to do with presence in the moment

But I am not one to arm-chair theorize or keyboard jockey (KJ). To test my theory, I am going to tighten up my yoga practice again for the next 30 days and practice being totally, completely present in my interactions with women

So I am driving home this past weekend with a female friend who I’m very close with. She says to me, “You think too much about this stuff. I don’t think – I just flow and everything works out for me.” Now mind you, she is straight, but this girl has got the most solid game I’ve ever seen in picking up chicks, so I enjoy talking to her about the subject.
And on the one hand she’s right. George Clooney and Brad Pitt don’t have to think about game. The guy who’s been great with women all his life… he doesn’t have to think about game.
Well guess what? I don’t have to think about playing guitar… But if I told someone who’s never played to just “not think” and play it, they would not be able to play like me.

Legend and I have been talking for the last few weeks about hitting the next level. Last night we had a discussion about what the “next level” would look like, so we have something to drive towards and push our edge:
1. When talking to a group, move them around the venue to a different spot. As Mystery would call it “run the rail”.
2. Never fizzle out a conversation – either get the number (out of genuine interest) or merge the group with the next group.
3. Get an amazing girl to go out and game with. Master pivot game.
4. Bounce groups of women out of the venue into “our world”.
