When I started Pick-up Evolution with Legend, it was my intent to create the type of website I would want to read. That is, if it was going to be about pick-up artist techniques and theory, I wanted it to be based on real world experience. If it was going to be a place where we shared our experiences, it was going to be a raw recollection of what ended up happening.

During mid-2008 through the end of the year it was just that: A raw report of what Legend and I were learning, our experiences and our trail & error. Plus our thoughts and experiences with motivation, learning pick-up artist techniques / seduction, self-improvement and life experiences.

When we started PuE, I was already saying that the market was saturated with pick-up artist products that were all essentially rehashes of the same material (many of which were “clones” of Mystery Method). Legend and I felt that everything that was being said in 2008 had already been said before and it was time that the “seduction community” (aka guys who actively want to be better with women) start moving into new territory.

Hey guys.. I know I haven’t been posting much.  I’ve been in the lab finishing up our next book that I co-wrote with Edge.

Edge has also been hard work at revising our Free eBook on the core skills to game.  I hope you guys are all enjoying your last days of summer and for you guys heading to school.  Good Luck.

Just spent the week-end on vacation with the girl at the beach.  It was a good time mostly although I had a cursed beach sticker.  First the attendant tried to take it from me becuase he said it was taped on.   So I had to drive off with him chasing me.

That was entertaining then after the chase  I got a ticket anyway for parking at the beach with out a sticker even though mine is on the car and valid but besides that it was nice and relaxing.  Anyway I hope you guys have some time to get away for the summer.

Today is the half-year mark for Pick-up Evolution!

I have to say that when Legend and I started Pick-up Evolution, we had a simple idea: Make our journal public as we start our journey to improve our skills with women.

The site very quickly gained a following and I can’t thank all of you enough for your support, your letters and your interest in our continuing exploration. I really appreciate it and I do my best to keep sharing our experiences in a way that will give value to all of you.

I have been thinking lately about how I can make this blog better. I believe that our blog has the most content out of all the dating advice / dating tips / pick-up artist / seduction websites out there. (Like those keywords?)

There are some other commercial blogs with more “content”, but I put content in quotes because the vast majority of it is just sales letters masked as content.

I have no problem with guys making a business in helping men improve their love life. I do have qualms with a guy (or a group of guys) starting a BUSINESS in pick-up because they want to have a business, not because Read the rest of this entry »

P.S. I have subscribed to a lot of newsletters from many different pick-up instructors. The majority of these subscriptions have just filled my mailbox with total crap: all fluff and teasers with multiple links to by their latest product. I get that they want to sell a product, but I believe it is disrespectful to shove someone’s mailbox full of commercials

, while offering ZERO content. I am not a fan of this and have unsubscribed to all of the newsletters like that.
