At the end of 2008 I came to a realization for myself. I don’t want to put so much effort into the actual pickup. Going out to a bar and chatting up complete strangers can be very difficult. Don’t get me wrong I like it and I will continue to do it, but I want to add a new facet to my game.
The thing that is so difficult about the cold approach is that each group and each new person you talked to is cold. They don’t know you and your value starts at zero. What this means is that every person that you talk to you, you must build your value up from zero and then start all over again with the next person.
