When I started Pick-up Evolution with Legend, it was my intent to create the type of website I would want to read. That is, if it was going to be about pick-up artist techniques and theory, I wanted it to be based on real world experience. If it was going to be a place where we shared our experiences, it was going to be a raw recollection of what ended up happening.
During mid-2008 through the end of the year it was just that: A raw report of what Legend and I were learning, our experiences and our trail & error. Plus our thoughts and experiences with motivation, learning pick-up artist techniques / seduction, self-improvement and life experiences.
When we started PuE, I was already saying that the market was saturated with pick-up artist products that were all essentially rehashes of the same material (many of which were “clones” of Mystery Method). Legend and I felt that everything that was being said in 2008 had already been said before and it was time that the “seduction community” (aka guys who actively want to be better with women) start moving into new territory.
At the beginning of 2009, we decided to start organizing what we had learned into a free e-book that discussed all of what we consider the most basic and essential elements to be great at picking up women at every stage of the “game”. So throughout most of 2009, our posts were formatted in the spirit of this project. (Note: I do plan on putting out a new revised edition of the “Core Skills Guide from Pick-up Evolution” in the coming months, so make sure you’re on the mailing list to get the announcement.)
We wanted the book to be free so that everyone could have a resource based on real life experience on how to be successful with women. Too many dating tips / seduction books are mixed with arm-chair theory and crap that just doesn’t work in real-life – we wanted our guide to smash all of those counterfeit books.
Toward the end of 2009, Legend and I decided to launch our own line of informational products. We already covered all of the stuff that had been readily discussed in the community. We already gave away a core skills guide that covered everything that’s already been said. Now we wanted to put brand new information out into the world that’s never been said before.
Now that we’re in 2010, Legend and I have been working hard to put a couple of new things out into the world:
- Launch our complete online dating skills ebook. (Coming very soon.) I’m really excited for this product since I’ve seen the other ebooks on the subject of online dating and ours covers completely new territory.
- Our next installment of our monthly Insider Interview Series, where Legend and I talk about a specific core skill/subject in-depth. We go into our personal experience, the theory, the right and wrong ways to do things, etc.
- Another special audio course (to be announced soon)
I’m excited about all of this stuff, but it’s a lot of work. I work a 9-5 job during the week and let me tell you, coming home and working on projects is not always easy or fun.
But I’ve made a decision: I am going to start posting on PuE again consistently. I love the projects that I’m working on, but frankly, I miss the simple times when I would just hop on here and share a quick thought or two with you guys. So stay tuned for our upcoming projects and for my posts.

P.S. If you’re not on the newsletter, GET ON THERE already. For Legend and I, half of the fun of running this website is being able to interact with you guys – so get on the list and send us your questions and comments. We answer everyone who sends in a question.

Im glad someone is finally saying the obvious…..
most of the “new” material coming out is just rehashed junk!
Yeah, I think a big thing is that there are all these guys putting stuff out that never bothered to go out and spend even half the time practicing that Edge and I have let alone how much the guy who really created most of the common knowledge has practiced so those guys just put out rehashed or made up stuff.
They never bothered to go out and try to see what actually works.

Yeah, that’s the most concise way to say it.
