People have asked me in different forums: What should a pick-up artist / PUA do at a house party?
If you’ve been listening to Legend and my audio journals of our nights, we’ve mentioned we’ve been throwing parties lately. And I have to say, house parties are a great way to hook up and build a network.
Let me go through some reasons why hosting a house party is a superior way to hook up with the women you want:
1) You invite the crowd. The guys, the girls. Everyone.
2) With Facebook and Myspace, you can add a massive amount of girls as friends, then create a party event and invite all of them.
3) You are the host. You are, by default, the alpha leader male.
4) You are giving value to everyone. If you throw a good party, people will want you in their lives because you have social value to them.
5) You set the atmosphere. Your party is an expression of you. Just by virtue of people being in the environment you’ve created, people are getting a feel for you.
Now when I talk about throwing a party, I’m talking throwing a BIG party. Like 100-200 people. Having massive amounts of alcohol available, dim lights, loud music and fun (non-creepy) guys. Truth be told, I barely game at all. I’m just laid back and talk with the guests and have fun!! And not only do I end up hooking up, but I end up getting offers from most of the other girls after the fact.
Meanwhile, the guys who are at the party love it because they’re also getting to meet all sorts of great girls because of you. And the majority of guys will readily offer you something of value in return (if they have any value to offer) in order to keep getting invites to your parties. I’ve been invited to all sorts of parties by guys with good connection just because they had so much fun at my party.
So consider throwing house parties. I know it’s not as glamorous as running game, but if your intent is to build your social skills, make great connections and get laid, throwing house parties is great way to do it.
